The Site is operated by ASCENDIS CONSULTING S.R.L., with its registered office in Bucharest, Piața Charles de Gaulle no. 15, floor 8, Sector 1, correspondence address at Str. Biharia no. 67-77, building B, ground floor, registered with the Trade Register Office under no. J40/3140/97, sole registration code RO 9398288 (“Ascendis”), as a personal data controller.

Certain terms used in this document (such as “personal data”, “controller”, or “processing”) have the meaning given to them in our Privacy Policy.

A cookie (also known as a “browser cookie”, “HTTP cookie” or “internet cookie”) is a small file, made up of letters and numbers, that is stored on the computer, mobile terminal or other device from which the internet is accessed. The cookie is installed through a request sent by a web server to a browser (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and is entirely “passive” – it does not contain software, viruses or spyware and cannot access the information on the user’s hard drive.

A cookie has two parts: the name and the content (or value). A cookie’s lifespan is also limited. Technically, only the web server that sent the cookie can access that information again when the user returns to the website associated with that server.

The Site uses both session cookies (temporary files that remain on your terminal until the browsing session ends or the browser is closed) and persistent cookies (which remain on the terminal for a set period, or until you delete them manually).

This category provides statistical information about the Site’s performance (number of users, traffic sources, pages visited, etc.), in aggregated form. Their use is based on your consent, given by enabling the “Analytics” category in the consent bar. They are only loaded if the Site administrator has configured an analytics tool.

This category is used to measure the effectiveness of our communication campaigns and to display relevant messages to users. Their use is based on your consent, given by enabling the “Marketing” category in the consent bar. They are only loaded if the Site administrator has configured the corresponding tools.

The list above is updated periodically. Depending on how the Site is configured at any given time, some of these cookies may not be active. The complete and always up-to-date list of the cookies actually used is available in the “Customize” window of the consent tool on the Site.

Until you give consent, no analytics or marketing cookie is loaded. The Site uses Google Consent Mode v2, so that third-party tools respect your choice.

Your choice is remembered for 180 days in a first-party cookie (ronkaufman_cookie_consent). You can change your choice at any time by pressing the round button with a cookie icon, shown permanently in the bottom-left corner of the Site (“Cookie preferences”). If you decline cookies other than the strictly necessary ones, your use of the Site is not affected.

We reserve the right to amend or update this cookie policy. The amended policy will be published on this page and will take effect at the time of publication. Where the changes concern cookies for which consent is required, you will be asked for your consent again through the consent bar.

The use of cookies is governed by national legislation (Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, as subsequently amended) and by European legislation (Directive 2002/58/EC on privacy and electronic communications, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC).
